Networks USDT is available on

The token is the same on every network, but the address is not: sending to an address from another chain loses the transfer. Pick the network your receiving wallet actually supports.

What is Tether (USDT)?

Tether, ticker USDT, is a stablecoin: a token whose issuer aims to keep it worth one US dollar. It is the most traded asset in crypto by volume, and on most exchanges it is the unit prices are quoted in, which is why it appears on one side of the majority of swap pairs.

USDT is not a single chain's token. The same dollar exists on Tron (TRC-20), Ethereum (ERC-20), Solana, BNB Chain and others, and the networks behave very differently: a TRC-20 transfer costs cents and confirms in seconds, an ERC-20 transfer costs whatever Ethereum gas costs at that moment. Sending to an address on the wrong network is the single most common way funds are lost, so the network is part of the address, not a detail.

The peg is maintained by the issuer holding reserves and honouring redemptions, not by an algorithm. In calm markets the price sits within a fraction of a cent of a dollar; in stressed ones it has traded slightly below and recovered. That is the risk you take in exchange for a balance that does not move with the market.

People use it for exactly that: parking value between trades, settling invoices, and moving money between exchanges without touching a bank. For swaps it is the default destination when someone wants out of volatility without leaving crypto.

Practical points for a swap. Choose the network before the amount. On Tron a transfer costs cents and lands in seconds; on Ethereum the same transfer follows gas and can cost several dollars. For anything under a few hundred dollars the network fee decides whether the transfer makes sense at all.

Some wallets show a single USDT balance across networks and hide which chain the funds actually sit on. Before naming an address, open the receiving details and read the network label there: an address that belongs to Ethereum will accept a Tron transfer only in the sense that the coins leave your side and never arrive.

Questions people ask first

What is the minimum USDT swap?

25 USDT. Below that the network fee eats too much of the transfer to be worth sending; the exact figure per direction is shown in the table above.

How much is 1 USDT worth right now?

About $0.999619, −0.00% over the past 24 hours. The figure on this page is taken from a public market feed when the page is built and refreshed in your browser.

Which network is USDT sent on?

TRC20 by default. The same token exists on several networks and the address format differs — check what your receiving wallet supports before you send.

Which USDT pairs are available?

9 directions on this site: BTC to USDT, ETH to USDT, SOL to USDT, BNB to USDT, LTC to USDT, USDT to TRX. Each has its own page with the current rate and the minimum.

Do I need an account to swap USDT?

No. There is no registration and no identity check for a standard swap: you send from your own wallet and name the receiving address at the exchange step.

Non-custodial by design

Coins go from your wallet to your wallet. Nothing sits in an account here, so there is no balance to freeze or lose.

Rates you can check

The quote comes from a public market feed and refreshes while you read it. The final amount is confirmed at the exchange step.

AML rules stated up front

Standard swaps need no identity check. A transfer flagged by compliance rules may require verification — that is said before you send, not after.
